This Was A Title Held By The Monarch Of The United Kingdom From George Iii Until The Accession Of Queen Victoria. The Hanoverian Succession Laws Were Based On Salic Law Which Prevented A Female From Inheriting The Title If There Was Any Surviving Male Heir And So The Title Passed To Queen Victoria’S Uncle The Duke Of Cumberland Who Became King Ernest Augustus.

On The Reverse Side Are The Words ‘God Save The King’ In 22 Carat Gold.

This Mug Is Handmade In Stoke-On-Trent Using Techniques Which Have Remained Unchanged For Over 250 Years, Since The Georgian Period. English Fine Bone China Is Highly Regarded For Its Whiteness And Delicacy.
